Canadian Tow Truck Driver Recovering After Being Pinned

Here's the update from www.newstalk650.com:

A tow truck driver pinned between two vehicles on Saskatchewan Drive in Regina is out of surgery. Police say his pelvis was broken and he had some internal bleeding.

A 34 year-old driver from Club Towing was working to put a pair of vehicles - involved in a crash- onto the deck of his truck. Police tell the Leader Post that's when a dollie slipped and one of the cars started rolling backward.

The driver jumped down and tried to stop it by pushing against it but was pinned.

According to Club Towing this morning the driver is expected to remain in hospital for awhile.

The intersection of Saskatchewan Drive and Albert Street was blocked off for a few hours yesterday as police reconstructed the accident. Occupational Health and Safety is also investigating.
